My realm of knowledge too ehhehe. ahwooo
I like space stuff.

But anyway, the distance between the 2 stars isn't very important.
As long as the minimum is distance is around Uranus's.
As for planet 1, pretty sure the planet would be dead meat.
If any star within a 30 light years from us exploded, life on earth is
under serious, serious threat.

30 Light Years =
283,821,914,177,424 Kilometers

Planet 1 was roughly 150,000,000 kilometres (0,000016 Light Years) away from the exploding star.
Would have been decimated.
But the rocky remnants and the later planetary disk could have merged into
a Reborn Planet 1.
