    Stop arguing on this thread.
If the radiance of a thousand suns was to burst at once into the sky, that would be like the splendor of the Mighty One...I am become Death, the Shatterer of worlds.

Here is a beautiful example of a Closed Sea on a fantasy map:

    Hi!
I spent several months in the hospital, but now I'm back!
Thank you all for your help! We made a very good map for the game and we had a great time!

A few days ago I started work on a new continent. Still a lot of work, but decided to share. I will be glad to your comments and suggestions.

First I sketched the outlines of the continent on separate sheets, and after glue them together.
Then I made another attempt to draw mountains. Not too successful, I think.

And at the moment it looks something like this.

Now I think of forests and rivers. And I am trying to find a way to sketch them to make them look better.

Compared to the detail of the coastline (which is very nice), the size and detail of the mountains are very pronounced compared to what I'm used to seeing.
I love the way you've added to the map simply by sticking new pieces of paper to the original sheet It's fun just letting your pencil wander...if only they sold sheets of paper the size of dinner tables at stationery shops...

    Thx!
I specifically did not draw all the continent on one large sheet
We are playing in an "open table" format, so sometimes two games taking place at the same time and we need two maps for different groups of players. Therefore, the games often take place in different sides of the continent, and we can just give them two different pieces of map, depending on where the events are happening
What about mountains... Yep... Too big...
