Thanks guys! =) @Freodin, this type of font is called "carolingian minuscule" and I was asked that I use this style.
Since all the letters are hand-drawn, I slightly changed small bits but I tried to keep it as close as I could.

Oh, der Zeichensatz passt perfekt... es ist nur, dass das lange s / ſ eigentlich nicht im Auslaut eines Wortes verwendet wird.

As this letter isn't commonly used in modern writing, most people just don't know how to use it "correctly". I know that it is sometimes used deliberately in this way, because to us modern folk, the sole usage of this letter looks "old"... but to those of us who do know how it should be used, it just looks "wrong".

Just nitpicking... it is only a minor part in your great map.

See, this is kind of embarrassing... (especially because I learned a lot about (micro-)typography in graphic-design school; actually since you mentioned it it really looks wrong to me, too). Thanks for pointing this out, I just learned something. =) I've actually never used this font-type before. Luckily most know less about it

I'll keep that in mind the next time this comes up. It's just like a typographic ligature, you really just have to learn the 'rules' =)

Excellent work! The first one has my preference but I love your labels on the second one!
