The Golem King was a once benevolent king who, despite many attempts, the fates conspired to deny him a legitimate heir. Desperate to keep his kingdom out of the hands of the rest of his extended family, he made a deal with a magician who transferred his soul into the undying body of a golem.

While he was able to retain his mind, his people rejected the king in his new body. Struggle and civil war ensued and the Golem King fled for his life. Now, centuries later, he still lives and spends his days hiding deep beneath the land...
