WOW I'll have to do some thinking on this one !
*** February 2015 challenge*** Evolving map
This month, the challenge is to make a map that shows an evolution of his subject.
The work has to show at least two maps showing this evolution but you're free to do a lot more. Remember that all maps have to be shown on one and only file.
You can depict the growth of a city in its multiple stages, show a plan of a magnificent castle and the plan after its ruin during the war that ravaged the kingdom, draw a map of a continent showing the succesive political changes along its history or create the blueprints showing how the starship Falcon MK-II slowly became the Condor MK-I
As usual, please make sure to title your threads: February 2015 Challenge: <your title here>
Also, don't forget to precede each work in progress picture with the label: ### Latest WIP ### This way the thumbnail scraper can find your entry.
This challenge will end on or around the 1st of March after which there will be a 4 day voting period. The winner will receive a shiny new golden compass!

Damn it, I wish I was making my map in Photoshop and not in hand on paper! That's something I'm already doing
A map must contain the following four elements: Title, Author, Scale and Orientation. It should also contain these two elements: Date and Legend. Without these, it's just a piece of paper with something on it.

Or make use of paper against a window with sunlight shining through over and over again
I've done that a few times when I've screwed up my hand drawn maps. Speaking of which...I should probably post one soon
Great challenge concept! Now one just have to figure out what to do with it.
