February 2015 Challenge: The Excavation of Louk Nem Zar

Deadshade : Actually the light is from the northwest.The light is shining down into the pit falling on the SE wall. The dunes are raised so the light falls on the NW slope. The shadows of the dunes being in the SE.

Well the map isn't the only thing evolving. So is the style of the art. I like this latest rendition the best.

In this last map it looks better.
It was the map with 1,2,3,4,5 which was confusing to me.
If the NW slope of the excavations has light coming from NW then the shading will be darkest at the top and lightest at the bottom. As you had it the other way round with a light shadow at the "top" and dark at the "bottom", it looked like a hill with light coming from SE.

Getting close to the end. Any suggestions/comments?
I am going to go back through and alter the journals to reflect the deteriorating mental state of Prof Tyrell.

I think you must be an archaeologist, really. You've captured the usual end-of-dig insanity perfectly!

Looks good. There are a few minor holes I could poke (text running off the page, for example), but with time so short it may not be helpful.

TheHoarseWhisperer Insanity is likely the cause of the text running off the paper to an extent the professor is off his nut by the end of all of this How ever it went a little over board . Thanks for the catch. I have some time to fix things So any other suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Fixed some type issues Thanks to T H W . Also fixed a style that got changed some how on only part of the dunes. Still have some time for tinkering so any advice or comments are welcome !
