Thread: Argona Luxury House

    Map Argona Luxury House

And here's my first real test to map a building. As indicates by the title, it's how I see a "standard" luxury house in my flying city of Argona. I was quite surprised to discover that the biggest challenge for me was the furnitures on this! And I would say a particular thank to Bogie : his work just gave me a good basis and a direction to do those furnitures!

Thanks Max! At first, I was cursing myself to begin with a "big" house... But I'm pretty satisfied of it now .

That's really great. I love the clean layout, the font works well (is that SPQR?), and the arrangement of rooms etc is logical and well-thought-out. Nice!

    Nice job!

It's got just the right amount of stuff going on.
The floor textures alone would be worthy of some rep.
The best maps are the ones we like the most after looking at the longest.

It has come out very nicely. And even if the furniture was a lot of work, on the plus side you now have that furniture you can reuse in other maps.
My new Deviant-thing. I finally caved.

Yes, it's SPQR (guess who's made me discover this font ?). I took various inspirations for the arrangement of rooms (from victorian house plans, mainly) and made some adapations for my setting.

Yes, besides the guild's support, it was a good reason to pursue (and I'm probably gonna need some other buidlings maps, so...).
