Here is something I cooked up playing around with the inKarnate mapping program.

That's a cool little map! Inkarnate is an interesting tool - great for quick-sketching an idea or a small regional map.

I think the mountain peaks need to be whiter, they look like grey cotton, but otherwise this is a very nice job!!

The compass and drawing of the sea monster and ship really add to the atmosphere, too.

I agree chick, the mountains do look a little grey for snow caps. I did like my placement of the ship and kraken, made it seem as if they were at odds with each other rather than static images placed in the corners. I think it gives the map a bit of action and motion.
