Default Mar/Apr 2015 Lite Challenge: Wydenfurth

I thought, what the heck, give it a try and so here I am. The idea is a small village of maybe 100 to 200 inhabitants that grew around a ford in medieval Germany. I might zoom a little bit out as I am pretty short on room. The name comes from Wyden=willows and furth=ford. Ok, here is my 1st rough sketch drawn when I came home after work today at 1130pm - so forgive me I hope it will get better

Thanks for joining the Lite Challenge. Hand drawn maps are very popular.

I'm really sick but I managed to color in the meadow, river and some other parts. Not too bad I'd think?

Looking good so far. I'm interested to see you fill it out a little. Also, hope you feel better soon.

Thanks Jaxilon, the hand drawn look comes probably from using the mouse with my right hand and I am a lefty LOL.

Oh my goodness, you remind me of when I started and had to do my digital drawing with a mouse. It's like trying to draw with a rock. I can't believe I actually did that but when you said it I remembered. Using a digital pen really makes life easier.
