    Default Kardien

Going back to an old massive map, working a part of that --> Kardien

What do you think about this style?

It's looking great! Beautiful colors and excellent forests. My only nitpick would be about the big mountain ranges which I find a little bit too "geometric".

I dig it! Is that part of Ereb Altor?
Would be great to see more of this world and style. Looking forward to what you'll be doing with it.

Neat! Not sure the texture for the terrain underwater really works, though.

Really? I'm not sure either. I like to look at it, but it doesn't mean it works, right?

That's right, and I have Ereb Altor completed in the same style, but not the labels.

That is a drawback when working with a massive map. The part of Kardien is 100% zoom. Here is the full map, and as you see, the mountains look much better. Either I need to rework the mountains at closer distance, or just try to make them more detailed. But it usually screw up when I zoom out.

The original map is 20484 x 11088 pixels.

Here is a 10% version of it. You can see Kardien in the red rectangle.
[Don't mention the rivers in the full map, that is what I'm working to fix. As I said, an old map! ]

Yes indeed ! I didn't know that it was only a part of a bigger map. And I know the difference you got with various scales... Some of my poor drawings are not so bad when seen from far far away !
