    Default Kingdom of Emprasir

    Greetings, Guild.

After a great and terrible summoning, the Elder Serpent came to the wretched land of Emprasir. When the King looked upon the blackness of its form he took his own sight to please the God. A deal was struck between the Serpent and the Blind King. The lands were to be ordered and split into three. Those who gave their sight willingly and were bestowed with great power were to be in Avaser in the south. Those who would not give their sight but were loyal to the dark power were situated in Impera in the west. Those who turned from the path were taken to the North in Anchala and kept there to be slaves and food for the Elder God.

Great work, Sarithus. Another highly polished and finely detailed map with a focus on presentation and a solid, consistent theme. Good names and map layout. It's interesting that you're able to work in many different styles, which is surely an asset.

    Nice.

Another gorgeous piece. The only thing that is jarring to me is the trunks of the trees in the forests, but that's a minor quibble. Overall it is spectacular, and I especially love all the little ornaments and decoration.

    Thanks a lot, everyone.

Diamond: Cheers. Are you referring to the fact that some of the trunks are too close to the outer edge? I do agree I could have done a better job with that. I think Vatai Forest has better trunks than Parelar.

I'm just not a fan of the straight vertical lines representing the trunks; it makes the forests look like forested plateaus. But like I said, that's a minor issue and likely I'm the only one bothered by it.
