December 2015 annual challenge : Nilraeth

After having thought about a lot of ideas, I finally decided to pick a classical fantasy map. The challenge will be the map dimensions here since I went for a 66x47" canvas on this one, so there will probably be details and time involved. I'm not 100% sure that I'll keep this one as the annual challenge so during the process but opening a thread here can't hurt, right? if I feel it doesn't worth it, I might move it to a regular WIP/finished map. I'm not even sure I'll be able to upload the whole map at a legible size here regarding forums constraints.That could be an issue.

The map will depicts the world of Nilraeth (But I'm tempted to say it's only a part since I might extend the world with a few more continents in some future project. Ah well we'll see.)

First step with landmasses done, and basic texture/colors.
