Oh yeah, the cliff looks fantastic now! Great job on that. Am interested to see what you do with the fields/cliff top area, but this is turning out incredibly well.

Well, I'm at a point where I need some advice.

I need some more eyes. I think I'm missing stuff, but I don't know what.

I added crops and gardens, wells, hitching posts, features on the cliff (including a mysterious ancient henge circle), smoke, a clothesline, and much more terrain detail. I think I went WAY overboard on the image scale--the finished file is actually 1.5 gbs, and I can't upload it in a way that shows off the detail... The darn thing is too big even when I shrink it down to save as a jpg. <sigh> Honestly, I don't know of any image hosting services that will let a person view the 72mb jpg... hehe... WAY too many layers... <sigh>...

But anyway. I know I'm missing stuff. Anything stick out to you all as really odd? Color balance? Texture? Whatever?

I'm hoping this image is a little bigger...

Excellent map! The work you did on that cliff is impressive.

The thing that sticks out the most to me is that there is no bridge in westbridge. Unless the name refers to the town being west of a bridge some distance away. Also the building with the boxes in the yard in the northeast of the map - are they beehives?

Yeah, there's no bridge in Westbridge. Not my fault--the pre-written campaign setting I'm making it for doesn't locate it on a river but instead on a major trade thoroughfare. In my head, I justified it the same way you did, Larb--it's a "gateway to the west", and I tried to imply that through the "The East Stops Here" subtitle...

And those beehives are supposed to be chicken coops for a poulterer. But now that you've mentioned beehives, I'm wondering if I shouldn't have some of those too somewhere... hehe...

Uploaded the image to my stash on DeviantArt to get the full image. Heres' the link: http://sta.sh/05f7jsj3jdh

Yeah, Galendae--there is no bridge. It's the "Bridge to the West". No river in the pre-written campaign material (Princes of the Apocalypse) that I'm using for my D&D game, for which I'm developing this map... Blame Mike Schley--he's the one who developed the original regional map under direction from WotC and Sasquatch Studios! Haha!!

I'm sure the irony isn't lost on the local populace!

So I added a key to the map and adjusted some stuff. Thoughts?

Looks good to me. The only typo I see is grainery instead of granary. I don't see any others. And now I've seen the regional map the town name makes sense!
