You still have a little over 2 weeks, you may yet get it done.

Well, with a little bit of elbow grease (and smart use of the clone stamp tool - thanks for the suggestions), I have renewed faith that I might be able to complete the whole thing. Of most immediate concern now though:

    1. Are the cities/towns too handdrawn? I'm not convinced they look good but I can't find a style I like better right now.
    2. Are the roads too bold?
    3. How does the grassland look?

I like the towns and cities, though they're small so you might make them a touch bolder so the darks stand out better; grey tones and thin lines may print lighter than you expect.

The grasslands look good, though because you used a similar brush tip with the roads you could probably lighten the grass a tad to avoid any confusion between the two. I'd also suggest erasing the grass (not the agricultural fields) that is closest to and nearly touching two of the towns/cities, because that's going to muddy the outline and shapes of the buildings at a smaller print size.

The roads are not too bold. They look good and are clear.

Ok last update for a week or so. Thanks for the suggestions. I definitely think you're right about the buildings being a little darker.

Those forests are vast! So much adventure waiting in there... I hope there's a little more to come!

Ok so most of the map has been filled in now. Labeling and making a compass will be my last steps. So, any suggestions left from the gallery before I put the finishing touches on this thing?

Edit: I still plan to lighten the grass and darken the cities a little.

Nice map. Maybe you could name one map "West Eldara" and the other "East Eldara". So they can be printed on non consecutive pages, like in the Song of Ice and Fire. GRRM has maps with empty pages in between.

Wow! That's really impressive. Lots of a intricate detail on the forests, and I like your hatch shading on the mountains. A very good entry.

    Cheers,
