Default The Impregnable Fortress of Dib

This is the second map for Jon Sawatsky's "Prepared!" articles on the Kobold Press blog. You can get the game information right here. This map is property of Kobold Press/Open Design.

Though it's finished, crits are always welcome!

    cheers,
    Meshon

I agree - this is great - nice linework and I like the monochrome shading. And the handwriting looks nice too.

Only a tiny nitpick: I like the floor texture but I think the regularity in it is a bit too noticeable over wide open spaces. It might be worth seeing if you can get a larger version of that pattern.
My new Deviant-thing. I finally caved.

    Great work Meshon.
It showcases your skill and your sense of humor, both of which I admire.

Working with Meshon is a treat. I think he's killing it with his maps and illustrations for this series of articles, and his work raises the quality bar of the project. His annotated style is something we're both excited about, and creatively I think we're going to go in some cool directions with it.

Thanks for the kind words. These annotated maps are a lot of fun to do, sneaking in a few of my own words on JSawatsky's awesome stories. I'm also learning a lot about what I can and can't do with vectors (i.e. Illustrator). Next time there's going to be some pixels, I swear...

    cheers,
    Meshon

Fantastic work Meshon! Love the clean lines and subdued greys, very attractive. Congrats on having your work published.
