Ooooh, nice! And I second the sentiment regarding the dunes.

And since you used it: what's the advantage of Illustrator over Photoshop?

Indeed it is very nice. I assume that there are roads to the keep on the Tredith border, it's just to small to show up on the map? I don't see any passes. Do the people of Tredith or Mednei know anything of lands beyond the Venatoris'?

Thank you! As vector program (like Inkscape) Illustrator comes in handy if you do things based on 'geometrical precision' - I cannot find a better term. A compass rose or a scale bar for example are easily done in Illustrator - I wouldn't do it in PS, the vector tools are too clumsy IMO. Additionally you can resize everything as you want, because as vector the program thinks in terms of paths and shapes, not pixels.

I don't have any information on the setting, it is for a RPG campaing.

Great map! Your usual beautiful icons & colors, and an excellent desert indeed. I really like the flags too. The only thing that bother me (a little) is the blue line on the coast, which is a bit too bright on my screen.

Very nice. Did you create the town symbols yourself, or are they from an available set? And I love the texture of the map, overall; I can imagine the feel of the paper or parchment it would have been drawn on.
