Map Tried my hand on the Antique tutorial

I am pretty happy with the result. Just wish there was a better way to indicate that mist wall.

I would try judicious use of the smudge tool to make the width of the wall less regular. You could also try adding some texture to the mist wall layer using layer styles. Play around with blending options until you get what you like.

Just a side note, your elevation lines don't quite match the really clean style of the rest of the map. You could try adding more lines to increase the density, or make a brush and set the spacing really wide if you want it to be very regular. Like this, though the brush I drew looks a little too much like a rail spike. Maybe something slightly softer .

Hope there's something useful for you.

    cheers,
