I like it. The blue is very saturated, but that might be a style choice.
If i see correctly, your lightsource is coming from the bottom left. I would add some more strong shadows. I look forward to the end result.

Thanks! The shadows… yes. I realized that some different choices earlier on would have helped me out here. I'm definitely going to think some more about how I do the shading next time around. The last couple of maps I've done, I've tried to brush them in, but I want to go back to some of the more solid shadows I was doing earlier.

For better or for worse, I'm going to stop working on this one

Of course, feedback is still appreciated. It will help me in the future!

    cheers,

Also, a version with a grid, just in case.

No, I didn't forget the grid! Sometimes people just like maps without grids, right?

This turned out really well. I love those patches of snow around the bottom area. The staircases and the stone walls are really well done too.

If I had to nitpick over one thing, I think it would be the title. I feel it blends too well. When I zoom in on it, and I'm not seeing much else in my browser window, it looks all right. But when I zoom out to look at the whole map, I feel it gets lost a little and needs a little to boost to stand out against the background. Just my tuppence.

@ChickPea, your tuppence is worth a shilling, no, a crown even. I had some trouble with that title but I was short on time and gave up too early. Sadly it was an afterthought and could have used a better treatment. I may even take another look at it before I shelve this one.

    Thanks for the comments!

    cheers,

I would love to see what the "story" behind this place is. Like what is in each room and what race/species created this awesome place. It is definitely a really cool map I would love to see about running in my campaign with your permission.
