Help Jagged coastline perhaps a bit too jagged?

So this is a map that I'm working on, and I've been trying to make my coastlines realistic, but I think I went a bit too far on this one. Did I, and if so, how could I make more realistic ones?

I wouldn't say it's "too jagged", but it does look kind of weird. The problem, to my eye, is that the fractal-ness of it is lacking -- your coastline wiggles have a dominant wavelength. If you add some jaggedness at larger and smaller scales, it will probably look better.

The large scale shapes are very convincing, though.

    It looks hexagonal, not jagged.

THe coastline is too angular. Has a very digital feel to it. How did you draw it?

The reason it looks hexagonal/angular is because I used a hex grid map as a base, and I tried to hide it but I didn't do a very good job. Does this look any better?
