    Question Wormhole network map

Hopefully a simple enough request, but I'm wondering if anyone has knows any software or tips on quickly & easily making maps such as this one. Ie more like a Tube map than what most people here are used to I imagine. Doesn't need to be pretty (just system names, wormhole links, owner and maybe a colour), just easy to read and hopefully less time-consuming than having this poor newbie manually shift everything around in PS or whatever .

Oh, you do not need a complicated software and large learning curve for a map of these.

This map looks like process modeling. I think you should try bpmn softwares (Excel and PowerPoint do it in a very simple way too)

Inkscape would be a good option.

Inkscape is a vector graphics editor which has a "diagram connector" tool which creates lines between objects that will follow them if you move them. Dia is a specialized diagramming tool with support for a variety of diagram notations. Both are open source and multiplatform.

I think that the "Draw" module in LibreOffice (or OpenOffice) suite can be a valid alternative for your kind of map.
