The Drowning Eyes novella map

I'm honored to be the first artists commissioned to do a map for Tor.com's new imprint for publishing novellas. Tor.com has been a source for free short fiction sci fi and fantasy stories for free. They recently decided to go into an extended format.

Thanks to Irene Gallo for the assignment.

Not only did they ask me to write about how I create maps, which you can read here. Someone in marketing took sections of the audio book, and made a click on page using the map, allowing people to hear excerpts from the audio book based on where they take place.

Wow I really love this map! It's a really cool blend of a cute tropical style and a more traditional rugged pirate map - I really like the extra touches of the burn marks and the faded navigational lines, I think it looks wonderful! Well done!
