My name is Expendable, but most just call me Ex (no relation).

I used to play a lot of role playing games and have a fondness for old maps, lighthouses, and ships.

I like making 3D models in Sketchup and rendering them in Kerkythea. I've also tried mapping a few interiors in 2D in Sketchup, coming up with interiors like this:

 

 

Besides virtual models, I like writing (mostly science fiction).

I saw a brush set of fantasy mapping icons on Pinterest and thought I'd stop in. May send some friends to go thorugh some of your tutorials.
