What would be considered a large nation?

How much land would a nation need to own to be considered large? Also, how big would a continent need to be to be considered large?
3000 miles? 5000? 10,000?

By a nation you mean an ethnicity or a country?

With both questions, large is a rather subjective word.

Is Australia large: I think so
Is Asia was: yes
Was Pangea large: yes!

Since Pangea is larger than Asia, does it means that Asia is small? It's relative.

So unless you have a specific reason to classify large, average or small continents,don't bother with the question.
