Default Bored during a class council

Hello guys ... and gals, of course

Tonight, I had to sit through two class councils for pupils that do not study mainly physics (which I teach). So I got a little bored. I took out a blank sheet of paper, my pencil, my eraser and a few pens.

Here's what I got after 4 hours of concentration and grunts addressed to the head of school when he asked my opinion about a student.

I still haven't finished my first project but this one was a breather and a good opportunity to practice isometric view.

I might want to use the compass for the lite challenge (though I doubt it could win) but I do not know if it's authorized. S stands for Septentrion (North), M for Midi (South), P for Ponant (West) and L for Levant (East). These are old french ways to name the cardinal points.

Feel free to tell me what's cool and what's wrong with it. I might color it later.

Nicely done! I like how it's very much the same style as the other map you are working on even though this one is on paper. If I did a map on paper it would probably end up being different from the style I do digitally.

Drawing maps is good for getting you through boring times.

    Have some rep!

That's absolutely great work, especially when it was done on the sly in a meeting! Nice one thomrey, though I don't know whether to encourage this behaviour or not!

Thanks ChickPea, I'll try a watercolor look on it for sure.

Very cool! The isometric view looks right to me, but then again, I'm no expert ;p
