    Interesting and awesome! I love the contour effect you did with this. Often I see maps that have either contours or actual raised areas but rarely both. Great job! Do you also use Fractal Terrains? If so, do you think it is possible to get the same result using that program?

    I guess you wanted to arouse a sense of "undefined" place.
    Yes, partly. It's based on Palos Verdes Rolling Hills, in the Los Angeles area but with more water to turn it into an island. I decided this afterward, one of the reason that the island is cropped in the top.

    I'm not... and I don't know if you can get this with FT. I can do a quick tuto of my method if you want, so you can see if it's possible to do it in FT? Anyway a good part of what I did is based on Waldronate tutorials.

    This is stunning! I love the colors and the contures, they are fantastic! I just wish the text was a little bigger, or more distinctive, so I could read it! But overall great map.
