haven't seen you in a while ChickPea! Yes, this little map is a LOT different from my first Larysia maps, isn't it? I'm currently remaking those maps, btw...into one great big world map. I'm also changing the style I created them in...I hope to post my first WIP soon. I can't believe how much my mapping in changed in such a short time!

Great use of color, it certainly feels like an arctic environment. I trust the map will be much appreciated in the campaign your husband is running. Hope you get a lot of use out of it.

I agree with others, you have the right color palette for a frozen theme. Just my 2 cents and a matter of personnal taste, but I think it would be better with your compass in the same perspective than all the other elements.

I actually tried that, originally, but it sort of faded into the background, and couldn't be seen. So I altered the color slightly with it, the text and the monster...making those three elements the same color, but different from the rest.

Looks good, I like the general feel to it. Good colors too!

I think Ilanthar is right, the compass would look good in the same perspective. Could you perhaps outline it in white to make it stand out more? But if it won't work its no biggie either

Maybe, if I put it on its own sheet, I could probably do that... Right now I think it's on the same sheet as my text. I'll look into trying that after I finish my Aeterna map. I've left that one alone too long, I need to get it finished.
