Okay, I think I've finally finished with this one. A little later than I'd hoped, but still in time for the challenge!

Thanks! Well, they were hand-drawn, but yeah I know what you mean. I was after the inked-look a lot with this map.

Excellent job. The icons are very nice, and the illustrations. An octopus and.... O.O someone getting hanged? And a pile of sculls beneath a palm tree? Looks like a... friendly place.

This really has a lot of character, so good work! As Josiah said, it looks like a "friendly" place.

There are some spacing issues with the legend in the lower right corner... I would make the text slightly smaller to fit everything on the legend. If you're going for the ripped/missing look, then make sure the font doesn't extend beyond the edge of the ripped paper, like the L in the word "tools" does.

Yeah, it's a friendly place alright!

@foremost Thanks, I meant to change that bit, but got distracted! Thanks for pointing it out, I'll update it!

This turned out beautifully. I love the hand-drawn feel of it, and the illustrations are fab. The tree is gorgeous, well, you know, apart from the guy swinging from it!!

I'm not usually fond of really heavy textures, but I think it just works here, and feels authentic to the style of map. I also like the way you've distressed and aged parts of it.

    Great job all round!
