Lovely work, man! Like snodsy, the whole 'lake getting ready to fall over the cliff like a full bathtub' bugs me, but it doesn't detract from the beauty of the map.

Great map arsheesh!, the details are lovely (the "grassy" hills, the little towns, the waterfall, ..) and I really like the way you did the "salt flats"!

Lots of great stuff in this one arsheesh.
Quite like that bit of smoke coming from the volcano.
The little building icons look good, though with that many ruins it might look good with maybe 2-3 types of ruins.
But I know time investment on commissions, so it's understandable.

Everything looks splendid. Was this done in Krita? I saw on DA that you were going to be using Krita.

You are right of course about the ruins. Partly this is based on my fee structure. I have one fee for a map in which all of the additional elements are individually hand drawn and another fee for maps with only a handful of individually hand drawn elements.

This maps was not done in Krita but I am using Krita for a project that I'm currently working on. I'm still learning the program but there's a lot I like about it. That said, it seems that there are some limitations to the program as well so for certain aspects of the project are being handled in other programs.

Lovely, I particularly like those curls of smoke over the mountain, very elegant.

Very nice job with this, Arsheesh. Like some others, I'm bugged by the elevation of the lake, but I assume that was part of the commission and there was nothing you could've done to fix it! The colored version is great, and I really like your dragon compass rose.
The best maps are the ones we like the most after looking at the longest.
