I like where this is going GLS. Those "dotted-like" lines are deliberate?

    Thanks Voolf.

Do you just mean the lines in general with the more inked look to them or something else?

Yeah, the black lines in general, they look rugged, when you look for example at straight lines their thickness differs. At some points its even invisible, Its like while drawing you took your pen away so you could leave small area without line and then continue again (like pen pressure).

I was wondering if this is intended, or maybe you are using some software which uses this kind of specific lines.

Yeah, it was intended. I'm using a more inky brush with reduced flow for a lot of it.

I quite often go for the more rugged look with my maps and make then slightly less clean-cut and more inked on paper. Are you not a huge fan then or was it just an observation?

Just an observation. Never used such a lines in my drawings. When i saw those lines first time, my impresion was that you draw those with pencil on paper then scan it with low resolution (and/or played with levels in PS), hence the effect.

If you ask me now, i must say it dosen't look too great to me (because i have this impression of badly scanned image), but i am waiting for this to be done. It may actually fit the style quite well. Besides when you zoom out you can barely see this, so i don't think it is soimething thta will bother me in you art.

Yeah, I guess I can see how you could see it like that. But hopefully, like you say, once done, it will lose that quality some more.

Don't worry though, this style won't be in all my pieces and I have been moving away from the look more recently anyway.

Here's another update. Colour's not done yet, but much better than before (though definitely needs touching up in places). I tried colouring the top-down view, but it didn't seem to work other than for the walls and stairs. The shields are much more colourful now and each knight has a little description beside his banner.

    Any comments/feedback welcome!

    Nice map!
I think a T is missing in "the keep of King Arthur".

    Thanks fol2dol.

There was I expecting a typo to be hidden among the mass of text, but nope, right in plain sight!
