    Map The Veinan Ridge

Just a fairly quick black and white map I did in a more clean-cut style than I usually do to see how it turned out.

    All elements drawn on Photoshop.

I love this simple B&W style; it always looks great. I like especially how that canyon in the southwest turned out - very convincing. My only critique really, is the outline of the forests. They seem too thick/bold compared to the other elements. It's especially noticeable where a forest is close to the shoreline.

I was wondering that myself so I'm pleased you pointed out too. I'm not sure why they came out like that as I think the brush was the same size, but probably just me being silly.

Thanks for the kind comments too, particularly about the canyon as I wasn't too sure about that.

Nice work on this, and agree it does look ready for a book. Everything is very clean and clear. If I have to nitpick, I'd make one tiny change with the labelling. There are a few places where you have roads or other lines crossing the labels. I'd add a small white glow to the labels to cover up the lines directly underneath the text. It makes the text more legible.

    Will rep if I can.

Really nice map, it's clean and clear as well as well drawn. The one critique I would have is that a little bit of shadow or a B&W texture would go a long way into adding depth to your map.
