    Map Arkon Map

    Hello!
Sorry I've been away for so long. It has been a very busy summer for me.
Here's one of the latest maps that I have painted and that I also have the permission to share.
It is for the upcoming game Arkon.
This map will not only be used as a map in itself but also for the back of the card deck so it has been a double challenge for me to do it
I have also created the Logo for the game.
Map and logo are painted with watercolour and ink.

Wow, beautiful job on the logo and very interesting placement. Your drawings are some expressive and of course your borders are always outstanding - very inspirational and so well integrated with the drawing. Please don't say away so long, miss the "eye candy".

Wow, these are fantastic! I'm so impressed that you create these works of art in traditional media. I'd be terrified of making a mistake!! Just beautiful work again.

    It's a great piece Francesca.
    The border is wonderful.
    Sounds like a nice commission.

    Wow, that is impressive

Since you didn't work digitally, I am curious:

    1. What paper size is this originally?
and 2. Did produce multiple iterations of this map before reaching its final stage? (and if yes how many?)

Thank you Mat_r! To answer your questions:
    1. A3 size
    2. I usually draw a couple of sketches before starting to work on the final pencil drawing. When I'm happy with the overall composition I work on the details based on the style that the client has chosen. Then I submit my work to the client and after a few changes I usually can start inking and then colouring it.
