Map The Coasts of Acur - The West-Central Coast

So this is the second of a series of maps I am trying to produce, all in a modern Atlas style. The first got good reviews, which catapulted me to finish this second one in record time, and some momentum is getting carried over to a third one...

As seen in the WIP thread, this area is the southern coast of the huge continent called Acur which comprises roughly 50% of the land mass of Maward. The size and shape of the continent produce a monsoon effect on the coast, but only a strip of land gets a monsoonal climate. Then comes a very large plateau and a few E-W mountain chains, which contain a more temperate climate, almost alpine in the higher ground.
This region is dominated by a few rivers, that cross fairly dry areas, and it is around those rivers that civilizations have spawned over and over. Yet, in recent times, this area has been more of a periphery of the powerful Kane and Zelandyi nations, both showing in the west and east ends of the map.

    Enough chat, here's the map!

    Again a beautiful map, Pixie

I can only see one drawback, and that's the low resolution of the relief mapping image. Its a bit pixelated. is there any way it can be done at a higher resolution?

    Other than that - perfect

sadly, I can't work out a solution for that.
I mean, I could remap the elevation map to a higher resolution, and restart from there - it should take a few months... (but won't, because I have a life outside the imaginary world of Maward)

    Thanks for your comments, Mouse!

How many maps do you plan to create in this series?

Another good one, Pixie! Will you do a general map to locate those different regional maps of your world?

Thank you all for every comment.

I divided the coast in 8 parts, but some maps would cover areas where I haven't finished the original map, so they won't get done. I think I'll make 5, if I don't get bored by repetition before

What a cool idea. I don't know if I will be able, though, given that I'm not using the same projection every time. I think it could be an interesring challenge - thanks!
