Guild City

I'm in, I'm sure we would come up with all kinds of street & place names. I grew up in a basement, so I know where I'd be looking for a home, probably close to Chick Pea now.

I am assuming this would be a monthly challenge, since the annual challenge is... well... I don't know what it is at the moment.

I am also assuming that since many of those who have expressed an interest are only able to take part in 'Challenges' (having already won 3 Lite Challenges, or at least one Challenge already) that if it was chosen it would be more likely to be a Challenge, than a Lite Challenge.

Mapping an entire city is a big commitment. That's why I included the 'part of' clause. You could do just the centre... or maybe just Bogie's House of Horrors, or Robbie's Secret Retreat, in the midst of whatever enclave you imagine such establishments would be part of

I think trying to put together an entire city in a month would be way too much to try to take on...But perhaps mapping a section of one? I think that would be very cool to do!

It doesn't have to be done as a 'challenge'. It could be done as an addition to the Guildworld project.
We could thus work it out over a different span of time to allow for everyone, if that is something people would like to do.
Just another option that is available.

That sounds like a realyl cool idea and I'd be more than up for that! Need to get more city map practice anyway!

The Guild World map last year worked out mostly okay with that similar sort of format and was great fun to be a part of! (...and see how many coconuts ChickPea was going to steal from my realm...probably hiding them somewhere in her sewer home... )

A time limit is a definite or else so much wouldn't get done. As for someone else filling in the unfinshed gaps, I guess you could have a more definite post-deadline deadline saying that those parts are liable to get redone which would either spur people on to finish their parts or allow new people to take part, or for those who have the time, people to do another section of the map, though perhaps in a different style to their first.

I would definitely be part of such project, if it's not a challenge. But as J.Edward said : each participant a part to draw, and a master builder to put all together ! That would be great !
