Looks great so far! I am a big fan of that 'factory' looking building you've got there.

Thanks, guys !
Well, I'm now cursing myself for not doing a flat plateau... And even drunk, you're safe if you're not on the edges... Except that the locals are strongly against alcoholic beverages.By Mouse
It was only yesterday you were talking about doing it, and now its already a good way done by the look of it, though I think I would have to avoid that sudden drop, and remember not to drink too much before walking around in your district! LOL!
Are you intending to use the same sorts of rendering techniques as Falconius?
I'll probably just use it for shadows and base for my future map, as well as a few illustrations (maybe). I don't really like the basic textures of SK.
There are going to be a few more factories/workshops.By Falconius

I'm done with the roofs! That's a relief.
I still have a few details (fountains and other elements) to add before I'll go to the map proper.
The crystal tower is receiving some light reflecting by a lens of the Solar Guild and then dispatching energetic rays for villas and industries which have a reception device in their towers.
Wow Ilanthar! Talk about detailed
This is going to be one of those maps to pour over, I can see.
Francissimo suggested using Sketchup in conjunction with Twilight to make models like the ones he does. Are you going to have a go at rendering it that way, or go the way of finishing it by hand?

Very neat.
I always love it when you do these sketchup maps, and this one is looking really good so far.
What work ! Incredible details and a great job for the roofs: not easy, these round roofs in sketchup! I'm looking forward to seeing all this with colors, it's going to be great!
