    Post Historical Map for Novel

I need a map made of 1774 Nueva Espana (Northwest Mexico, Gulf of California, Baja California, Alta California) for a novel about the first families that travelled to Monterey, California. I would like it to look like the style of maps in 1774 (I have an example as a .jpeg file) freehand drawn not computer generated, if possible. I'm attaching a very rough example of the information that is needed on the map - several towns, and the names of indigenous tribes. I will also attach a sample of a hand drawn map from the period.

I'd like someone who has had experience doing illustrations/maps for other books.

Since this will be the map used in the novel, I would need copyright permission in order to print the book.

Salary dependent upon quality of work and previous references.

Please contact Darlene Craviotto at my gmail email. My name (all lower letters) AT gmail.

    Thanks!

    Post Position Filled

Thank you to everyone who contacted me regarding this job. I've found a cartographer here on the forum who will be creating the map for my novel.
