First Map Post: ELIOS

Hi everyone,

I hope this is the right forum to post this, but this is my first map attempt as a part of the Guild. I made this continent based off of a tutorial by Ascension. Made with Photoshop CC, 5+ hours.

So be gentle, but I'd love to hear some feedback or support on this map.

Looks good to me, congrats on your first map.

Two things:

1) The outlines to the landmass are a bit overdone. I count ten of these while I think three would have been enough, five tops. I mean, check out that tiny island in the south, it appears way bigger than it is.
2) The background color is nice but you could perhaps add a little bit of texture to it. Maybe some subtle clouds. But you don't have to, it's just a personal preference of mine to have a background that isn't uniform.
