    Map Old Graveyard

My first go at a battle/encounter map (besides the quick ones I do for D&D sessions).
Linework was done by hand (microns on A3 paper). Coloured digitally.

Great encounter piece! I can feel a sense of urgency and lingering threat just by looking at the destroyed chapel.

AS said in the reputation, very good combination of both lining, hatching and colored work ESPECIALLY because it is the first work of this sort. Well done! =)

This is awesome Blaidd. I missed the colour update, so it's way better than when I first saw it.
All the destruction makes it looks super creepy, and the broken down door is the best.
If you made it dark like night with blue tones and mist, that would be even creepier.

Hmmm.. Maybe I should try a encounter map.

I'm glad you feel that the creepiness works

Yeah, I agree that that would be better. I tried it for a while, but I couldn't find a palette that works and I gave up (maybe too easily). I'll give it a more serious shot next time though.

    Awesome work Blaidd Drwg!

Great to see you trying your hand at something new and pulling it off so well. Really great linework and style, but with your talent those things go without saying!

    Very nice map!

I am building a ios app / android app that is going to include rpg related maps of all sorts.

Wondering if I could include your map?
