Just a little practice map I made. It's such a small area I'm not even sure it really counts as a map! It was for practice, so there isn't really a story behind it, other than what started to emerge as I did the key. I had a kind of stressful week, I think it shows in the obsessive number of tiny lines I drew!
In case you're curious, the paper dimensions are about 118mm x 184mm, it's pretty small. I still feel nervous about drawing on big pieces of paper…

This is a lovely piece. The border, trees and castle are fantastic. Sorry you had a stressful week, and I hope we don't have to wait till you're stressed again to make more maps like this!

This is so lovely. It would make a great illustration for a chapter header page in a novel.
