October 2017 Challenge: Map Retrieved From a Smuggler's Corpse
I took a sort of "sandbox" approach, marking several potential quest hooks in visual form:
This map would be the reward for a successful search-check on a corpse. The campaign could be called the Quest for the Cursed Gem. The gem allows you to scy approximately one week into the future, but requires a blood sacrifice to activate the gem's power. Also, the user would only be able to scry for a short time within a very limited range (such as 10 min. within a 50 ft. radius). Unscrupulous gamblers and assassination plotters alike might be willing to make the necessary sacrifices in order to enable the Eye of Foresight. Last I counted, this map utilizes at least 7 of the words from the provided map challenge list.

this is really cool! One of these days I am going to manage to make a map that 'looks' hand drawn.... even if it's not! I don't have the courage to try one of those, yet though.
