i was wondering if someone could explain how i would go about making a map for myself

Hi sid, you'd be best to hit up the Tutorials area of the forum and have a search through there for what you want. I see you've posted the town/city mapping forum, so I assume that's what you're hoping to create? I'm sure there are quite a number of tutorials for village/town/city maps, though of course it depends what software you're using.

If you can give a little more information on what you're trying to achieve, we might be able to give more specific advice.

1st Start with Pen and Paper..........................
2nd Decide if you wanna Do Paper or Digital.....................
If Digital do you want 100% handdrawn in which case you wanna learn a Graphics program.....
