    I messed around with it a bit and tried out the sea floor height map idea. I think it worked, though I would like to know what everyone else thinks.

    In the thumb, the colors look awesome. When I blew it up the texture is quite dominating. I'd take out a big eraser and erase big sections or blur the whole thing out more or lower the opacity more...lots of options really and nothing is really "right" so if it makes you happy then go with it.

    I'll drop the opacity a bit and see what we get.
