Wip WIP - Isle of Roc (world building)

Hey folks, I've started doing some world building for a novel idea of mine. I just wanted to know what you think of my outline and process.
I wasn't sure where to start at first, until my SO suggested starting with the most advanced civilization. So this is my outline of the world from their perspective. It's a south up map, which is a little unusual, but they are the closest island to the south Pole besides a small continent of ice, that mimics our Earth's Antarctica.

I hope you enjoy it, please leave some suggestions

Wow, that's off to a really great start! I'm looking forward to seeing more of it.

Good job with those mountains !

I zoomed in, but the photograph was a bit blurry... Too bad, I sure would like to study the way you did those reliefs

Thanks! I'm glad you like it. It's probably blurry because I took the picture with my phone
When I begin inking everything in you'll see it in better detail, or if I can find one I'll be sure to scan it.

This is hand drawn with pencil

Thanks Wingshaw, I'll be sure to do more soon
I get into these projects really quickly most of the time. Hopefully nothing else will distract me.

Info Update 1-16-18 Mountain Shading Progress

Last night you guys saw that I had started laying out my mountains on the island, and someone wanted to see in better detail how I was doing the shading on my mountains. So I took some more photos

I've noticed that from last night to today, my style has changed a little shading wise. I'm not thrilled with the changes right now, but I'm having difficulty replicating what I did last night. I hope this won't continue to happen as I go, I like keeping everything fairly similar.

    Thanks for your comments,
