February 2018 Challenge: The Realm of Axes

I've not had any time to really come on the Guild much recently but I've been trying to get something together for this challenge. It's not much to look at for now, but I'm hoping to get it detailed, inked and maaaaybe coloured if I can find the time.

My prophecy is:

"Upon the solstice in the Year of Waves, in the Realm of the Axes, the Wyrm Empress shall unleash a plague of horror"

Hehe, pleased the creepy vibe's coming though. I hadn't thought about Aliens, but yeah I can get that.

Not sure whether to do inked shading next, colour, then ink shade, or colour and shade using them...hmmm...

Anyway, here's another crappy phone photo of tonight's progress. Hopefully the right way up this time.
