Thread: Airship Merlin [commission]

    Map Airship Merlin [commission]

One of a set of maps I created for a client back in 2017.
The publication date was not certain, so I was told I could post them now rather than wait.
I will update with links when/if the game module goes to print. As of now, I have no link for the product.

The environment had a lot of airship travel and large desert regions.
Look for more from this series, Deliverance, in the next weeks.

Very well designed and legible, I really get a feel for what this ship is like. And I love the side view you provide at the top.

Thanks Serena I like doing multi-view images. And I find it helpful for understanding structures.

I've thought the same thing by looking at it . Also true for the frame : it has such a nice touch with just a few inspired strokes .
The effect produced by the grey smooth lines and the black lineart is very interesting and effective.

Although the design is genius and masterfully executed, I have to join Ilanthar on the frame. You used thicker strokes for it and it works so well !

    Thanks Ilanthar
I wish I had more opportunities to do weighted strokes in other work of mine. It's pleasant to make.
It also makes for a lot faster work for things like a frame.

Thanks Thomas Using digital pens can be nice for things like weighted lines.
