Map Legend of the Five Rings RPG - Village Map

    Hi!
Recently I'm often too busy/tired but when I finally find the time to visit the Guild I always see so many new gorgeous artworks and inspiring maps.. I feel recharged
    So thank you all!

Now that I'm here I'd like to share with you one of the maps I've made for Legends of the Five Rings RPG by FantasyFlightGames.
Needless to say I LOVE this setting and I feel a strong bond with this kind of art style.
Every stroke must be balanced, efficient and delicate...a real challenge that has thought me a lot.

    Enjoy!

You do capture elements of that sumi-e painting really well in this. I'm very fond of L5R and have made lots of maps for it myself so I love this especially.
My new Deviant-thing. I finally caved.

So lovely and delicate, I love your interepretation of eastern styles. The heron in the bottom right is a marvel

    Wow.

I've been watching you progress through Emperion on Twitter, and then, while that's going on, you crack this out! Your style seems like it would be so time-consuming, and yet you are incredibly prolific. I'm amazed!

    Great work.

Beautiful work Francesca ! I love how the linework for the building is well defined while the background mountains seem to have an ethereal vibe. Faithful to the Japanese prints

Already praised it on dA, but it deserves some love and Rep in here as well! One of my favorites of the city maps you've done, it really is a beauty.

Thank you very much! I've painted this map quite a few months ago...I can show it just now because the RPG has been published
