Tashev (the Mountain Village)

This is a map of a small mountain village from the first book in a series of novels I am writing. This was my first hand-drawn, perspective map. I did it for a couple of reason: I was eager to try my hand at a map of this type, and I knew it would push my ability and develop skills that would prove valuable in my other mapping efforts. I made it in Autodesk Sketchbook and added the text in Photoshop CC 2018. It was an interesting—sometimes frustrating—journey, and I learned a lot along the way.
