[The Lazy One]

Cheers everyone!

While working on our worldbuilding project, I'm still trying to experiment and keep my hand warm by drawing some small maps.
In this case, i tried a full-analogic map (no digital thingy involved) with inks on watercolour paper and Copic Ciao markers to color it. I have to say, I think I'll avoid colors on my future maps, but it was an interesting test nonetheless.

The finished map on pc looks quite larger than what it actually is: the full paper is an A5, basically a sketchbook.



Next to the pens, it kinda gives a better sense of perspective.

Thank you all! I'm pretty satisfied myself, and although there's much that could be done better the sole fact to have it as a physical object is a nice thing.

As others have said, the colours are very nice in this map. I think the simple colours works very well with the simple linework - the expression 'less is more' seems appropriate. I like that your map shows the land in a pleasing way without being cluttered with detail.
