    Default The Seven (Commission WIP)

Hey! This is a new map in the works for a board game called The Seven.
It's come together very quickly and I'm really liking the colours.

    Critiques or comments welcome!

You are right, the colors are quite amazing ! If I may, as it is, I feel something is missing at the transition between land and see. In my eye, the land seems to be hovering above the ocean. Maybe add some waves of any kind or a bright blue for the shallows to anchor the land to the see ?

I love the overall feel of what you've made so far! I'm especially fond of the island with the pink trees, it reminds me of an old gem of a game for SNES called Secret of Mana.

I have to second Thomas on the disconnection between the ocean and islands, though unfortunately I don't have a whole lot of insight as to how that could be remedied, being that I don't do any means of digital fabrication. This is really promising, are you going to add any towns or labels?

    Cheers!

I was thinking the same thing and I added that before I even saw your comment. Here's a sample, what do you think now?
