For Spirit Sword by Sam Ford, now available on Amazon.

This one is interesting to me because it's in the southern hemisphere and based on Sumerian images, which is how I selected the style for the hand lettering (as it is intended to be a 'drawn in world' map).

I'd like this in the front of a book. It's nice and clear as to where things are and it's not so overloaded with details that it'll be impossible to use during the read. I suspect the client is happy.

Thanks, Jax. Yes. He was delighted. And yes, given the size it will be used, I think it's a great example, it's not going to be a enormous poster piece but instead intended to be a simpler reference to support the reading of the book. Although fun fact, I did create a few names to fill in gaps that are not locations in the book, something I've found to be popular lately, people don't want the locations to give away the journey and are too busy with the editing to make up world areas that aren't visited, so they have me place a few names. I believe I added Red Water, Sapphire Run, Aurha's Delta, and Bracken Bay to this particular map. I recall I had named the little stomach lake 'the Sac' on the first draft but that name was ruled out on account of "it sounds like it's full of spiders" so I changed it to Aurha's Delta.
