To everyone stay safe in these unprecedented and troubled times.
I think the planet hates us; the pandemic and abundant natural disasters world-wide are, I reckon, natures way of telling us where to go!

Just because it kind of follows the theme of the challenge.
9:00 a.m. on what was supposed to be a mostly clear day. Tried to get a good shot of the sky on Wednesday afternoon, but the smoke made it too dark.
As of this morning, 500,000 residents had been ordered to evacuate. Doesn't seem like a big number until you think about it being roughly 1/8th of Oregon's total population.
Crazy times we are living in. It doesn't help that a goodly portion of our fire fighters specializing in these types of fires had already left the state to help with fires down in California. The timing of all of this couldn't have been worse. Supposed to get rain by Monday. Hopefully we can hang on until then.

Holy dang. That is super intense. I myself am originally from northern California (no, not San Francisco, the proper north; i.e. Jefferson State), and I remember the fires from 2008, when you could look at the sun at noon, and it was a deep surly red. But compared to this picture, those fires seemed almost tame. Keep yourself safe dude!
